  • Football
    • Served as a clever wingman for the Mount St. Mary’s Football team and was named left end on the All-Time Mount St. Mary’s team. Malloy was a fast, sure and hard tackler who had an adapt to blocking smart and tricky
    • Malloy’s greatest achievement was in 1911 when scored a touchdown at the Mount-Carlisle Indian game when the opposing team had not be scored upon in five years
  • Basketball
    • Captain of the 1912 Mount St. Mary’s Basketball team under the coaching of Professor Michael J. Thompson playing position of right guard. Malloy is a player with accurate passing and speedy floor work. Halfway through the 1913 season, Malloy was elected as team captain again after Joseph Letter who had left the school. 
  • Baseball
    • Third Baseman of the Mount St. Mary’s Baseball team. Malloy had an ability to play many versions of a ball player on the field. Halfway through the season, his role was changed again and pitched his first game against Gettysburg College pitching a good ball. Throughout his career at the Mount, Malloy had abilities to play defensively on the third base and get hits when at bat.
  • Retired in 1935 from Director of Athletics and Coach. Malloy served as one of the prime movers in getting Maryland Collegiate Basketball league in operation. In the decade as a coach, Malloy  developed numerous successful teams and had an array of athletes chosen to the All-Maryland teams
