Baseball
- One of five Mount players to play in the Major Leagues. Appeared in a pair of games for the New York Yankees in 1916 before playing three seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
- Served as a team captain for the Mount in his senior season (1914). His .388 for the Mountaineers in 1912.

Basketball
- Named to the All-Mountain team as a senior in 1914 after averaging 17.8 points in helping the Mount to a 13-4 record.
- Led the Mount in scoring his final three seasons. Averaged 8.2 points per game in 1911-12 before posting a team-high 10.2 points per game as a junior the following year.
