Men’s Water Polo Split Games on Day One of Laker Invite With a Win Against Gannon

ERIE, PA (September 26, 2026) – The Men's water polo split their games from day one of the Laker Invite with a 16-12 win over Gannon and a 27-14 loss against Bucknell. This makes the Mount's record 4-8 for the season.
 
Aleksandar Radosavljevic led the way for Mount, as he scored 11 goals across both contests, with six in the game against Gannon and five in the game against Bucknell. The other top scorer of the day was Luka Urosevic who found the back of the net a total of nine times, with five against Gannon and four against Bucknell.

In the first quarter of the game against Gannon, Radosavljevic found the back of the net to score the first point for the Mount, the Mount down 5-1 going into the second. Then the Mount pulled ahead in the second with one goal scored by the team as well as goals scored Will Matthews (1), Urosevic (1), Aaron Tarr (2), and Radosavljevic (1) sending the Mount into half up, 8-6.
 
For second half scoring goals came from Radosavljevic and Urosevic in the third, with Mount down 9-10 going into the final quarter.  The Mount then pulled away with the win as the team scored six goals that came from Jack Fox (1), Radosavljevic (2), and Urosevic (3), with final score 16-12.

In the first quarter against Bucknell, Urosevic found the back of the net with the first goal against the Bisons. Other goals that followed came from Radosavljevic (2) and Tarr (1) to send the Mount down 9-4 going into the second. Going into the second, Radosavljevic found the back of net to start the quarter, followed by goals from Tarr (1), Giannis Skliras (1), Darrion Phelps, and then Radosavljevic again scoring. The Mount were down 15-9 to the Bisons going into half.
 
For the second half, the Mount scored a total of five goals to end the game with Mount falling to the Bisons 27-14. Goals in the second half came in the third from Urosevic (3), Radosavljevic (1) and Phelps (1). The Mount were scoreless for the final quarter against Bucknell.
