EMMITSBURG, MD (September 23, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's bowling unveils its 2026-27 schedule, competing in nine tournaments in their ninth season of competition.
 
Five of the tournaments take place during the fall of 2026. The team leads off with the Bud Whitman Memorial, hosted by Chestnut Hill in Deptford, New Jersey, competing in the event for the first time since 2022-23. For the rest of October, the Mount makes return trips to the Chelsea Gilliam Penguin Classic, hosted by Youngstown State, and Sacred Heart's Destination Florida in Orlando.
 
Rounding out the fall semester are the Kat Klash and the Jersey Jamboree, two first-time tournaments for the Mount. Sam Houston State hosts the former and Fairleigh Dickinson hosts the latter.
 
2027 begins with Sacred Heart's second major tournament – the Northeast Classic, contested at Bowlerama at New Castle, Delaware. That is followed by three tournaments in February, starting with the ninth annual Mount Shootout on February 6 and 7.
 
Completing the 2026-27 season are the Niagara Spring Classic in New York and the Stallings Invitational in North Carolina.
 
Last season, the team went 61-36 for the 2025-26 campaign.
 
The Mountaineers are led by first-year head coach Ryan Ventillo. He is the third coach in Mount St. Mary's history.
