EMMITSBURG, MD (September 17, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's men's rugby opens Rugby East competition with a trip down the Shenandoah Valley to face Southern Virginia.  
 
MOUNT UPDATE
 
This is the second regular season contest for the Mount this season. Back on September 5, the team fell 33-3 to Davenport in a neutral site game in Cleveland, Ohio.
 
Last season in Rugby East competition, the team earned several victories including wins over Mary Washington and Penn State.
 
UP NEXT
 
Men's rugby opens their home schedule on September 26 against Mary Washington. The A-sides play at 1 PM on Echo, followed by the B-side at 3 PM.
