EMMITSBURG, MD (September 11, 2026) – For one final tune-up before Metro Conference play, Mount St. Mary's men's soccer travels to play the Delaware Blue Hens on Saturday.  
 
MOUNT UPDATE
 
The Mount secured their third draw in as many home games, finishing last Tuesday's match with a 0-0 draw against Navy. Lars Almankaas got his first collegiate start, making three saves on the way to earning the clean sheet. The offense led in shots, 9-8, in a competitive match between the two.
 
SCOUTING THE BLUE HENS
 
Delaware enters the match following a 3-0 win over Loyola. The Blue Hens outscored their opponents 8-5 so far, led by three goals from Frederik Flaskager. Eric Widrick has played every minute in goal, registering 19 saves against the five goals allowed.
 
SERIES HISTORY
 
Saturday marks the 10^th meeting between the two teams. Delaware holds a 6-2-1 advantage, with the Mount last winning in 2005 by a 2-0 final.
