LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. (April 4, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's baseball avoided the sweep today against Siena, beating the Saints 3-2 in game three of the series. With the win, the Mount claws it way back to within two games of .500 with a 13-15 record, notching a 7-8 record in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
After six innings of deadlock, the Mountaineers got on the scoreboard in the top of the seventh inning, as
David Stokely sent a two-run shot out to left field, taking a 2-0 led with a third of the game left. Siena rallied in the eighth, hitting a two-run home run of their own before
Christian Bauman flew out to right field, scoring
Mike Toth on a sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning, rounding out the win and avoiding the sweep on Saturday.
