LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. — Mount St. Mary's women's tennis secured a spot in the MAAC Championships with a 6–1 victory over Siena. The Mount improves to 12–8 overall and 5–2 in conference play, while Siena falls to 9–10 (2–6 MAAC).

With the win, Mount St. Mary's has now gone 10–1 over its last 11 matches, continuing one of the program's strongest stretches in recent years.

The Mount claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. Emma Perkins and Anna Barlini battled to a 7–6 (7–2) victory at No. 2, while Margherita Trolese and Eirini Tsakiri added a 6–2 win at No. 3. Siena earned its lone doubles victory at No. 1.

In singles, Mount dominated, winning five of six matches. Eirini Tsakiri rallied for a 3–6, 6–2, 1–0 (10–5) victory at No. 2, while Venus Tang posted a 6–3, 6–2 win at No. 3. Margherita Trolese controlled her match at No. 4 with a 6–0, 6–4 decision, and Bella Pescatore added a 7–5, 6–4 win at No. 5. Anna Barlini closed out the scoring with a 6–4, 6–2 victory at No. 6. Siena's lone point came at No. 1 singles, where Andrea Vargas edged Emma Perkins in a match tiebreak.

By clinching a playoff berth, the Mount guarantees a top-four finish in the MAAC standings. With one regular season match remaining at home against Rider at noon on Monday, Mount St. Mary's can secure the No. 2 seed with a win. A loss would place the Mount either second or third, depending on the outcome of the Niagara–Fairfield match on April 19.

The top four teams advance to the MAAC Championships, scheduled for April 24 and 26 at the Princeton University Racquet and Fieldhouse.
