EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 12, 2026) - In the Round of 16 of the D1A National Championship, Mount St. Mary's fell to Life by a 61-5 final in a match played at Life's home stadium in Marietta, Georgia this past Saturday.  

The Mountaineers posted a first half try around the midway point, which served to stem the tide for a time after Life opened the match with three scores. But the Running Eagles managed to resume their charge, scoring twice to end the first half, and thrice more in the second half. 

Mount St. Mary's concludes its season with a 7-6 record. They reached the D1A Round of 16 for the second consecutive year.
