BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Mount St. Mary's women's tennis earned a hard-fought 4-3 victory over Lehigh at the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center. With the win, the Mount improves to 3-7 on the season, while Lehigh falls to 3-9.

The Mount captured the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 3. Margherita Trolese and Eirini Tsakiri opened doubles play with a commanding 6-1 win over Brooke Peters and Alina Shyani at No. 3. Venus Tang and Bella Pescatore followed with a 6-4 victory against Maggie Forkner and Hannah Letzer at No. 1 to secure the point. The No. 2 doubles match was unfinished with Anna Barlini and Emma Perkins leading 4-2.

In singles action, the Mount clinched the match with three victories. Tsakiri earned a 7-5, 6-4 win over Giselle Vlassis at No. 2, while Tang posted a strong 6-3, 6-1 victory against Skye Yonehara at No. 3. Trolese secured the decisive point with a 6-1, 7-6 triumph over Ronit Khromchenko at No. 4.

Lehigh picked up wins at Nos. 1, 5, and 6 singles, but the Mount's doubles point combined with three singles victories proved enough to secure the team result.
