HILTON HEAD, S.C. — Mount St. Mary's women's tennis delivered a strong performance, defeating Tiffin 5-2 during play in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The Mount improves to 2-6 overall, while Tiffin falls to 3-6.

The Mount seized early momentum by sweeping all three doubles matches. Bella Pescatore and Venus Tang secured a tight 7-5 win at No. 1 doubles, while Anna Barlini and Emma Perkins followed with a 6-4 victory at No. 2. Margherita Trolese and Eirini Tsakiri completed the doubles sweep with a 6-3 win at No. 3.

Mount continued its strong play in singles. Tsakiri posted a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 2, while Tang delivered a dominant 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 3. Trolese added another straight-set win at No. 4, defeating Erna Brdarevic 6-2, 6-1.

Anna Barlini capped the day with one of the match's most dramatic results, rallying past Anisha Sivakumar in a match tiebreak, 3-6, 6-2, 14-12, to secure the Mount's fifth point.
