Tough Day in Tennessee Closes Marathon Week for Flag Football

EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 29, 2026) – At the end of a grueling week of six games in four days, Mount St. Mary's flag football fell twice on the final day, falling 35-6 to King and 61-0 to Ferrum. The team leaves the weekend with a 4-9 record and 1-6 against Conference Carolinas competitors.
 
Jordyn Dodson-Jenson saw the bulk of play at the quarterback position, throwing the team's lone touchdown on the day, caught by Annabelle Haught.
 
Against King, Madison Kean had the best defensive performance, providing 11 tackles and an interception.
 
In the opener, the Tornado secured two pick-six interceptions to seize the early momentum after a 21-0 first quarter. Later on, facing Ferrum for the second time this season, the Panthers shut out the Mountaineers, leading 28-0 by halftime and adding another 33 points in a merciless second half.
