EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 28, 2026) – Boosted by a big day from senior
MK Allingham, Mount St. Mary's women's lacrosse continued their fast start in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), defeating Rider 17-2.
Allingham had a career-high six goals to lead the Mount offense.
Brooke Molchanoff and
Haylee Bittinger added hat tricks, with Molchanoff scoring four times and Bittinger three.
Peyton Sims,
Morgan Ortega, and
Maddie Malfa also scored.
From the defensive end,
Ava Kraszewski led with two caused turnovers.
Carter Eberle and Bittinger have three ground balls each.
The win moves the Mount to 7-4 this season and 3-0 in the MAAC.
HOW THE GAME UNFOLDED
- The Mountaineers opened a 5-0 lead going into the second quarter. Molchanoff scored first, and two Allingham goals sandwiching a Sims score.
- After Rider got on the board, the Mount added another six to lead 11-1 at halftime. Allingham provided most of the goals entering the break.
- Bittinger's presence was felt in the second half, scoring all three of her goals. Molchanoff, Sims, and Malfa provided more offense in a running clock scenario.
