EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 26, 2026) – Kicking off their lengthy weekend in Conference Carolinas (CC) play, Mount St. Mary's conceded two second half scores to fall 13-7 in a competitive match with Mount Olive. With the result, the team is 3-5 (0-2 CC) for the season.
The Mount generated its offense through the passing game, recording 125 yards in the air.
Jenna Dick threw for 107 yards, with
Jordyn Dodson-Jenson adding 18 more.
Alyssa Lane had the most receptions with six, and
Jayanna Goines finished with the most yards at 42.
On the defensive ball of the side,
Madison Kean reached double figures in tackles with 11,
Morgan Gregory had seven tackles and an interception, and
Chloe Lover-Omar tallied four sacks.
Even more passing provided the bulk of the offense,
Keira Speikes scored the Mount's touchdown on the ground, running in for a second quarter score. Mount Olive was able to take the contest with two second half touchdowns – one in each quarter.
