EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 25, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's junior golfer Force Kosalutta won the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's Golf Player of the Week Wednesday.
 
This past weekend at the Carpetbagger Classic, Kosalutta held first place on the first day of the tournament with a score of 69 (-3) and finished the tournament in third with a final score of 141 (69-72, -3) leading the Mount men's golf team in a team title win at the tournament. Kosalutta scorecard included 10 of the 34 birdies from the team over both days.

 As a team, the Mount won the event, shooting a 290 (+2) on day two to take the title by four strokes over LaSalle and Bryant.
 
The Mountaineers will head up to Pennsylvania for the Abarta Coca-Cola Intercollegiate about two weeks from now on April 12-13^th.
