EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 27, 2026) – A duo of Mount St. Mary's men's golfers earned All-Conference honors from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), announced by the league on Monday.
Santiago Bonequi received a First-Team All-MAAC selection while
Force Kosalutta earned a Second Team All-MAAC selection.
Bonequi has been a consistent player within the team who has led the team in five of the nine tournaments he has played in this year. He was within the top ten in majority of these tournaments as well and was a key player in helping the team win the Carpetbagger Classic, finishing in fifth for this tournament. His lowest round be a 67, recorded at the Red Flash Invitational. He averaged a 73.91 for strokes this season, averaging of +3 to par.
Kosalutta excelled towards the middle of the season, earning an individual title in the Wykagyl Collegiate and gaining a MAAC Golfer of the Week honor for his efforts at the Carpetbagger Classic. In the Carpetbagger, he was leading the tournament on day one and then finished third on the second day of play, leading the team to gain the title for this tournament. His lowest round would be a 68 which he attained at the Red Flash Invitational. He averaged a 74.23 for strokes to alse having a season average of +3 to par.
Three members from the men's golf team also attained a MAAC All-Academic Team selection. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
