CATONSVILLE, Md. (March 10, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's baseball fell to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County on Tuesday afternoon by a score of 20-4. With the loss, the Mount falls to an overall record of 6-8.
Blanked through the first five innings, the Mountaineers scored their first runs of the game in the top of the sixth when
David Stokely singled up the middle, driving in
Parker Hildebrand. With Stokely, Paddy Hebda, and Nathan Rodiguez on base,
Sean Heffernan drove the base runners in with a three-RBI triple down the right field line.
Heffernan went 2-2 on the day with a triple while knocking in three base runners. Hildebrand, Hebda, and
Christian Bauman all recorded hits against the Retrievers while
Ty Fredo and
Ryan McKay worked walks at the plate.
