EMMITSBURG, Md. (February 12, 2025) – The 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's and Women's Golf Preseason Coaches Polls have been announced. Mount St. Mary's men's golf was picked fifth with a total of 75 points while the women's golf team was picked sixth with a total of 45 points.
Picked for first on the men's side, defending MAAC champions Fairfield (121) received a unanimous pick, followed by Iona who received 102 points. Iona is followed by the 2025 MAAC runner up, Sacred Heart in third with 93 points. Siena was picked fourth earning 85 points, followed by the Mount.
In the women's poll, Quinnipiac was selected first for the second straight year comping eight first-place votes. Behind the reigning MAAC champions on the women's side is the runner up from 2025 UAlbany who finished with 79 points and one first place vote. Following UAlbany are Sacred Heart (71), Fairfield (60), Merrimack College (53), and the Mount.
