Santiago Bonequi led Mountaineer golfers on day one standing tied for ninth with a score of 71 (E).
On the team leaderboard, Gardner-Webb stands in first with a gross score of 283 (-1) to hold a one-stroke lead over Lafayette in second. Lafayette stands in second with a three-stroke lead over Presbyterian. For the individual leaderboard, Keith Hunter of Central Michigan and Winston Kelenc-Blank of Lafayette stand tied for first with a score of 66 (-5).

th place with a score of 72 (+1), while
