EMMITSBURG, Md. (September 30, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's senior goalkeeper
Julian Marcos made six second half saves, leading the charge as the men's soccer team earned a 1-1 draw against a potent Bucknell Bison squad.
All six of Marcos' saves preserved the 1-1 score at the halftime whistle. He withstood a Bucknell barrage in the opening 20 minutes of the second half and finished with two spectacular rejections in the final 10 minutes. His penultimate stoppage was a kick save while in the split position.
Graham Dougald provided the offense by scoring on a penalty in the 32
nd minute. The infraction came on a denial of a scoring opportunity by Bucknell goalie Freddie Lapworth. Dougald now ties
Jack Kehoe for the team lead for goals at three each.
Mount St. Mary's earned its fourth draw of the season. They return to Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play this Saturday (Oct. 4), challenging Sacred Heart in Connecticut.
