EMMITSBURG, Md. (August 27, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's men's soccer continues its road trip to open the season, facing Binghamton in the second game of the 2025 campaign.
MOUNT UPDATE
Jack Kehoe scored a brace as the Mountaineers came from behind to forge a 2-2 draw in the season opener at Navy. Kehoe earned a subsequent Offensive Player of the Week nod from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Monday.
Luciano Schiaffini provided an assist on the game tying goal. In the net,
Julian Marcos registered a pair of saves.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Defeats to Boston College and George Washington give the Bearcats a 0-2 start to the season. Alex Balkey posted Binghamton's lone goal in the GW contest with an assist from Ryan Gillon. Connor Cresswell has earned four saves thus far across the two matches.
THE ALL-TIME SERIES
Binghamton is 2-0 in the series, winning matches in 2003 and 2024. Last year the Bearcats won the contest 1-0 off a goal in the 83
rd minute by Luke Yates.
LOOKING AHEAD
On Labor Day (Sept. 1), the Mount concludes the season opening road swing at Robert Morris.
