Mount Men’s Soccer Concludes Season in Defeat to Rider

EMMITSBURG, Md. (November 5, 2025) – By a 2-0 final, Mount St. Mary's men's soccer saw its season come to an end, falling to Rider.  
 
HOW THE GAME UNFOLDED
  • The contest took 32 minutes for either side to get a shot on goal. Rider had the better chances early but were negated by offside calls. Christian Kyriacou got the first shot on goal, which was saved by Broncs goalie Marius Helias.
  • Julian Marcos made his first save in the 35th minute by denying Lovro Kostanjšek.
  • Rider broke through on the goal count as Max Schrader scored off a free kick from Kaelan Debbage in the 36th minute.
  • Helias saved a second Mount shot on goal from Danny Chhetri before the end of the period.
  • Xavi Csato put Rider in the driver's seat with a 58th minute goal for the 2-0 score.
  • Mount finished with nine shots in the second half but only Fabian Perez delivered an on-goal chance, once again saved by Helias.
Mount St. Mary's finishes the season with a 3-9-5 record and 3-6-1 MAAC mark.
