Women's Golf Finishes in 14th Place at Golfweek Spring Invite

Pawleys Island, S.C. (April 2nd, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's women's golf finishes in 14th with a gross score of 927 (+75) following day three of play at the Golfweek Spring Invite. Jennifer Sorkin and Erika Cui lead the Mountaineers on day three to both finish tied for 26th with a gross score of 225 (+12). They both shot 74 on day three to add to their score of 151 from the first two rounds of play.
 
Coastal Carolina finished in first place, six strokes ahead of Middle Tennessee in second. Middle Tennessee finished in second with a nine-stroke lead over Akron. Kate Petrova of Evansville finished in first place with a score of 208 (71-70-67, -4) on the individual leaderboard.
 
To round out the scorecard, Makensy Knaub finished tied for 62nd with a gross score of 235 (78-79-78, +22). Naomi Yacyshen finished tied for 74th with a gross score of 242 (84-78-80, +29), while Allie Sexton finished in 89th with a gross score of 269 (93-87-89, +56).
