ANN ARBOR, MI. (April 11, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's baseball lost game one to Michigan by a score of 10-0 in their first day in the Great Lakes State. With the loss, the Mountaineers fall to a 14-18 overall record while maintaining their Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference record of 7-8.
The matchup between the Mountaineers and the Wolverines was the first contest between the two schools since Michigan's 8-7 win on March 1, 2013 in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Sam Grube notched a leadoff hit in the top of the fourth to get on base while
Evan Meier singled up the middle to get on base in the top of the sixth, ending the Mountaineers on-base record for the day as the game was called in the seventh inning.
Jake Arnold was accredited with his third loss of the year while striking out two Wolverine batters.
