Emmitsburg, Md (March 8, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's men's lacrosse couldn't find their footing against Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) opponents Quinnipiac, losing 21-10.

Mount St. Mary's had seven different goal scorers. Aidan Kilduff, Kevin Whitty, and Will McKay each tallied two for the team. Brody Atkinson, Marcelo Carreiro, Tucker Claxton, and Gavin Shaffer each scored one. Kilduff and Shaffer scored the first goals of their Mount careers in the loss. Jack Smith continued playing for the team, leading the assist total with three. Bennett Wright tallied 13 saves on 34 shots on goal.

Quinnipiac showed 11 different goal scorers with Nate Watson leading the way, scoring six goals. Aiden Whitehouse added three, and Cole Marsala, Trevor Douglas, and Grant Pearsall each tallied two. Goalkeeper Mason Oak only needed to tally five saves in the game and secure the win for the Bobcats.

Up Next for the Mount
The Mountaineers will continue the MAAC campaign heading to Riverdale, NY to take on Manhattan. That game will take place on Saturday, March 15, at noon. After this contest, the Mount will return home to Waldron Family Stadium to take on Marist on March 22.
