BERLIN, Md. (March 29th, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's finishes in fourth place following the second round of the Battle at Rum Pointe with a cumulative score of 579(292-287, +3). The Mountaineers were led by
Daniel Shelley on day two who finished tied for 11
th with a gross score of 144 (73-71, E).
Fairfield finished in first place in the tournament, tallying a score of 567 (-9) between both days. Behind Fairfield is Colgate and Iona who finished tied for second seven strokes behind Fairfield. Peter Crowe of Fairfield took first place on the individual leaderboard with a score of 139 (-5).
To round out the scorecard,
Aaron Sorkin and
Santiago Bonequi finished tied for 15
th both with a gross score of 145 (+1). Sorkin shot 74 (+2) on day two while Bonequi shot 71 (-1) on day two.
Devin Smith finished tied for 24
th with a gross score of 147 (74-73, +3), while
Martin Hurtado finished tied for 29
th with a gross score of 148 (76-72, +4).
