MOUNT STORY LINES
- Arlandus Keyes scored a career-high 17 points to pace Mount St. Mary's past Canisius, 73-66, on a snowy afternoon in Buffalo on Sunday. Keyes had eight points and an assist during the Mount's 12-0 run that proved to be the difference. Keyes hit 5-of-9 from three-point range in the win. Jedy Cordilia added 14 points and seven rebounds with Dallas Hobbs also in double figures with 10 points. Terrell Ard Jr. pulled down a team-high 12 rebounds with Xavier Lipscomb adding a solid all-around game with seven points, seven rebounds and six assists. The Mountaineers held a commanding 40-24 edge on the boards while shooting 50.0 percent from the field in the win.
- Mount St. Mary's won at Saint Peter's, 79-64, on February 2 to cut the Peacocks lead in the all-time series to 5-4. The Mount is 2-3 against Saint Peter's in MAAC regular season meetings, including an 0-2 mark at home.
- The Mountaineers are 15-10 this season, the most wins in a season since the Mount went 18-14 in 2017-18.  This is the 13th time in 37 seasons that the Mountaineers have won 15 or more games since moving to NCAA Division I in 1988-89.
- Mount St. Mary's improved to 9-6 on the road this season with a sweep of last weekend's road trip to Niagara and Canisius. The nine road wins are tied for the third most in all of NCAA Division I this season, and are tied for the second most in a season in the Mount's Division I era.
- Jedy Cordilia leads the MAAC in field goal percentage, converting 62.1 percent of his shots this season. Cordilia is the Mount's all-time leader in career field goal percentage, shooting 59.2 percent (297-502) in 110 career games. The 6-9 senior is averaging 15.6 points and 10.4 rebounds over the past five games, shooting 64.8 percent (35-of-54) over that span.
- Mount St. Mary's has shot 50 percent or better from the field in four of the past five games. The Mount is shooting 51.6 percent overall (131-of-254) and 40.2 percent from three-point range (39-of-97) over the five-game stretch. The Mountaineers are shooting 44.4 percent from the field this season.
