EMMITSBURG, Md. (February 16, 2025) – Finishing the weekend with five wins over seven games, Mount St. Mary's bowling took third place at the James Brown Invitational, hosted by Morgan State at The Lanes at Fort Meade.
The Mountaineers matched their qualifying position in bracket play with two wins against the host Bears, including a comeback finale by winning the last two games in the best-of-seven.
During qualifying the team had success against #12 Sacred Heart, winning both meetings against the Pioneers. Troubles came with #18 UMES, who took all three games against the Mountaineers. Victories also came against Bowie State and Howard over the weekend.
