GENEVA, Ohio (February 13, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's swimming and diving ended their second day of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships with a 153-point fifth place finish for the women and a 121.5-point sixth place finish for the men.
On the women's side of the competition,
Carmen Del Aguila placed third in the 500-Yard Freestyle with a time of 4:54.38.
Christina Lazari and
Meghan Speicher placed third and fourth in the 50-Yard freestyle, recording times of 23.51 and 23.53 respectively. And the relay team of Speicher, Lazari,
Madison Murphy, and
Theodora Kanellopoulou placed second in the 200-Yard Freestyle relay with a time of 1:33.62.
In the men's competition,
Lucas Hancock placed third in the 50-Yard Freestyle with a time of 20.20 followed by
Parker Koenig in fifth with a time of 20.34. The relay team of Koenig, Hancock,
Austin Toland, and
Jason Fitch finished second in the 200-Yard freestyle Relay with a time of 1:20.03.
