EMMITSBURG, Md. (November 5, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's will unveil new state-of-the art video boards and sound system, enhancing the fan experience for basketball games at Knott Arena for the 2025-26 season.
 
Three new video boards feature on both sides on Knott Arena, made possible by Digital Scoreboards. On the far wall opposite the concourse will be a giant 50-by-21 screen running the length of the court. Across the way, two smaller screens supplement the larger board. All three enhance the real-time stat update experience, provide additional windows for fan experiences, and increase utilization of advertising space.
 
Along with the video boards, Digital Scoreboards provided new courtside tables with digital signage. These boards will also house the scorer's table, DV Sport Replay, statisticians, and broadcasting.
 
Accompanying the video board is a brand new sound system from CW Technology. The arena is now equipped with surround sound, enabling fans to listen in on promotions, ceremonies, and announcements from each side of the arena, floor seats, the Truly Terrace Party Deck, and the Lynne Robinson Concourse.
 
The digital and audio enhancements are part of ongoing renovations to the Knott Athletic, Recreation, and Convocation Complex.

Seats are limited for Opening Night (Nov. 7) this Friday against Bucknell. Tickets can be purchased through the Mount's Hometown Ticketing webpage.
 
Mount St. Mary's opens its home schedule with a men's basketball game against Bucknell at 7 p.m. Friday. The women's basketball team plays its first home game at 3 p.m. November 15 against Morgan State.
