EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 8, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's basketball has announced its promotional schedule ahead of the 2025–26 season, offering exciting incentives and giveaways as the Mount welcomes home its defending Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) champion men's team and the top-four-finishing women's squad.

The festivities begin on November 7 with the men's home opener. Fans are encouraged to Wear Black as we celebrate the achievements of the 2024–25 men's basketball team and unveil the MAAC Championship banner. Rally towels will be given away to the first 1,000 fans, presented by Educational Systems Federal Credit Union, along with magnet schedules for the first 500 fans, courtesy of Maynard Scott Spedden Farmers Insurance.
 
On November 15, the women's team opens its home slate against the Morgan State Bears. Magnet schedules will be distributed to the first 250 fans in attendance, also provided by Maynard Scott Spedden Farmers Insurance. It will also be Girl Scout Day at Knott Arena, with local troops encouraged to join in the opening afternoon atmosphere.
 
For the first time ever, the Mount women's team will host STEM Education Day on January 8, when they face Quinnipiac. Featuring a special 11 a.m. start time, the game offers local schoolchildren the opportunity to cheer on the Mountaineers in a fun, educational environment.
 
January 24 marks Winter Homecoming, a doubleheader event as the women take on Merrimack at 2 p.m., followed by the men's game against Rider at 5 p.m. Prior to the men's game, the Mount will induct its 2026 Hall of Fame class.
 
Additional dates of note include Kids Cheer Free days, offering complimentary admission for fans 12 and under. The men's Kids Cheer Free game will take place on December 29 versus Iona, and the women's on January 17 against Canisius.
 
There will also be an Emmit Bobblehead Giveaway presented by Pepsi during the men's game versus Manhattan on February 1, and a Pink Shirt Giveaway ahead of the women's Cancer Awareness Night against Fairfield on February 12.
