Kosalutta Leads With a Top Five Placement on Day One of Wykagyl Collegiate

NEW ROCHELLE, Ny. (October 27, 2025) – Force Kosalutta leads Mount St. Mary's men golfers on day one of the Wykagyl Collegiate standing tied for fourth with a score of 140 (71-69, -4). As a team, the Mountaineers currently stand in sixth place on the leaderboard with a gross score of 596 (305-291, +20) following day one of play.
 
On the team leaderboard, Rhode Island stands in first with a gross score of 563 (-13) with a three-stroke lead over Long Island in second. Long Island stands in second with a 17-stroke lead over St. John's in third. For the individual leaderboard, Mike Rothberg of Sacred Heart stands in first with a gross score of 136 (-8).
 
To round out the Mount's scorecard, Tyler Fortney stands tied for 23rd place following a 149 (77-72, +5) day, while Santiago Bonequi stands tied for 36th after shooting a total score of 153 (79-74, +9).  Daniel Shelley stands tied for 44th with a gross score of 156 (78-78, +12) and Brent Glah stands in 56th with a gross score of 161 (85-76, +17).
