EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 25, 2025) – Facing 23 shots, the Mount St. Mary's women's soccer team kept all attempts by the Marist Red Foxes out of the net. The result was a 0-0 draw in the season finale.
Anna Joyce got the start in goal, making four saves – all of which were in the first half. Her efforts combined with the back line of
Jasmine Sims,
Gabrielle Olibris,
Payton Meara, and
Nicole Wilson pushed all 11 second half Marist shots away from the net. The group along with their teammates also cast aside eight corner tries.
The offense also made their presence felt as seven of their eight shots were on goal. Marist goalkeeper Samantha Graf withstood and challenged and combined for the clean sheet.
Taylor Simmons collected three shots on goal as she tried to earn an exclamation point in her ultimate collegiate game.
Mount St. Mary's finishes the season with a 3-12-2 record.
