EMMITSBURG, Md. (January 19, 2025) – Defeating Maryville for the second day in a row, Mount St. Mary's bowling finished the competitive Northeast Classic in ninth place out of a field of more than 30 teams.
 
Sunday's bracket action proved to be a tough test that the Mount fought to the brink in each round. They would battle a pair of top 15 teams to a seventh game before sweeping the #9 ranked Saints in four games. It would take big game sevens from the #7 Wichita State Shockers and #14 Duquesne Dukes.

For the weekend, the Mount went 8-5 to improve their record to 44-24.
 
Next up for the team will be the Mount Shootout, taking place at Clearview Lanes in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania. The three-day tournament begins February 7.
