EMMITSBURG, Md. (January 18, 2025) – Wins over #9 Maryville, Dominican University of New York, and Wagner give Mount St. Mary's bowling a 3-2 showing for day two of the Northeast Classic, and 7-3 for the week.
Featuring traditional play and a crowded field where 247 bowlers registered a score,
Trishelle Leal Uribe led the way for the Mountaineers by coming in 44
th place. The junior rolled a 1,031 series, capped by a 224 against Maryville.
Leah Varela and
Alyssa Balest registered placements in the top 60.
Maryville was the first win and the team's best score of the day with a 1,050. From then on, the team finished with over 900 for each round, with Niagara and Nebraska needing scores well past 1,000 to claim victory over the Mountaineers.
