Morgantown, W. Va. (February 24, 2024)—Mount St. Mary's women's tennis fell to #47 West Virginia, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon.
West Virginia opened the match by sweeping the doubles matches to take the doubles point and a 1-0 advantage. The Mount got on the scoreboard at No. 1 singles when
Sofia Kostirko posted a 1-6, 7-6 (9-7), 1-0 (10-1) victory over Love-Star Alexis. West Virginia was able to sweep the Mount the rest of the way.
