Washington, D.C. (February 10, 2024)--The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis team lost at Howard, 4-1, on Saturday afternoon.  Sofia Kostirko won at No. 1 singles to give the Mount it's point.  The Mount is now 1-1 on the season.

After Howard swept all three doubles matches to collect the doubles point, Kostirko was able to give the Mount a 3-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-8) victory at No. 1 singles.  Adrian Barney fell in straight sets at No. 2 singles, Ana Alvarez-Storni lost at No. 3 singles, and Valentine Mudry lost at No. 4.

Up next, the Mount will play at the University of the District of Columbia at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 23.
