EMMITSBURG, Md. (November 21, 2024) – In the latest report given by the NCAA and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), Mount St. Mary's achieved a 94 percent Graduation Success Rate (GSR), with eight teams earning a perfect 100 percent.
 
Mount's eight teams with a perfect rating were men's basketball, women's lacrosse, men's golf, women's golf, softball, women's swimming and diving, and women's tennis.
 
The 94 percent attained by Mount St. Mary's University is in line with the MAAC's rate, which ranks seventh among the 32 Division I NCAA conferences.
 
The most recent NCAA GSR report shows graduation information for student-athletes who entered institutions in the 2017-2018 academic year, as student-athletes' graduation is tracked six years after enrollment.
 
At the Mount, the GSR rate has increased from 86 to 94 percent over the last 10 years. Across Division I, the GSR has increased from 74 to 91 percent since 2002.
