BALTIMORE, Md. (November 17, 2024) – Mount St. Mary's bowling completed their appearances at the Lady Eagles Invitational on Sunday with a final day record of 3-1 and a overall record of 8-1. They finished in third place among a field of 16 schools only behind Delaware State, who finished in second place and Felician, who won the tournament outright.
Across 47 games played, the Mountaineers finished with 9,397 total pins, more than any other school at the invitational. They also finished with an average of 199.9 pins per game, another tournament leading statistic. The team scored 1,995 and 4,978 points across the Traditional and Baker formats respectively, leading the tournament once again in those respective stats.
In the best of seven competitions, the Mount went 1-1, with a 4-3 final game loss to Delaware State and a 4-1 victory against Kutztown. In the total pinfall games, the Mount went 2-0 with a 1038-917 win against Belmont Abbey followed up by a 957-754 win against Molloy.

Aliza Shirk scored 396, 410, and 422 across the two total pinfall matchups followed by
Alyssa Balest, who knocked 394 pins against Belmont Abbey and Molloy and
Trishelle Leal Uribe, who scored 373 across her two matches.
