EMMITSBURG, Md. (January 28, 2024) – Mount St. Mary's bowling went to game seven in each of their three matchups in Sunday's bracket play at the Red Flash Invitational. They ultimately took second place after falling to #8 Duquesne in the title match.
 
Senior Alyssa Alexander received her spot on the All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the weekend.
 
Duquesne rallied in the initial match to take the contest, then the Mount had to fend off Valparaiso after coming back from 3-0 down to force game seven. In the championship, the Mountaineers and Dukes split the first four games, then battled to force an ultimate finale before falling 206-151 in the last 10 frames.
 
The Mountaineers went 10-3 on the weekend and go into a bye week at 48-23 for the season.
