EMMITSBURG, Md. (January 27, 2024) – Winning four games Saturday gave Mount St. Mary's bowling 400 program victories during the second day of the Red Flash Invitational. With nine victories out of 10, the team remains in second place entering the final day.
Freshman
Leah Varela had the highest Baker average for the team with a mean of 21.61. Senior
Alyssa Alexander had a solid showing with a 19.71 average.
After falling to Duquesne in the position round, the Mount swept the rest of the day, beginning with a 1006 game over #19 Valparaiso. The team went on to defeat Penn State Altoona, Mount Aloysius, and the hosts Saint Francis U.
Saturday's showing gives the Mount a 47-23 record for the season.
