COMPLETE RESULTS

Lewisburg, Pa. (September 2, 2023)—The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's tennis teams continued play at the Bucknell Invitational on Saturday with a pair of doubles matches in addition to one round of singles action today.

For the Mountaineer men, Aaron Thompson provided a win in singles over Lafayette's Jake Magnussen, 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 (10-8) with Jarrett Karnibad cruising to a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Bucknell's Ethan Esclamando.  Thompson and Karnibad are both a perfect 2-0 in singles play in their groups so far in the tournament.

In doubles, Karnibad and Zachiotis tallied a 6-4 win over Gregory Troyan and Alan Gonzalez ISFU) with Elliot Stevens and Victor Mignot going 2-0 on the day with wins over Patrick Reese and Sebastian Quinonez (SFU), 7-6 (7-0) and Escalando and Will Robinson of Bucknell, 6-1.

For the women, Ana Alvarez-Storni and Adriana Barney earned a 6-4 win over Saint Francis U's Whitney King and Abigail Platt.

The tournament concludes tomorrow.
