September 13, 2023—Mount St. Mary's senior Michael Chipi has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week.  Chipi is coming off a first-place finish at the LVC Dutchmen Invitational this past Saturday.

Chipi grabbed the individual title at the Dutchmen Invitational by finishing the eight-kilometer course in a time of 25:33.1, topping the field of 169 runners.

The Mountaineers return to action on Saturday, September 16, at the Jasper Fall XC Invite which will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm, site of the 2023 MAAC Championships.
