West Windsor, N.J. (April 22, 2023)--The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis team fell to top-seeded Quinnipiac, 4-0, in the semifinal round of the 2023 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Championships on Saturday afternoon at the Mercer County Park Tennis Center.  The Mount finishes the season with a 7-9 record.

The Bobcats captured the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.  Adriana Barney and Ana Alvarez-Storni fell 6-4 at No. 2 doubles while Shirley Liang and Victoria Papadopoulou lost 6-1 at No. 3 doubles.  In singles action, Quinnipiac earned wins at No. 3, No. 5 and No. 6 to clinch the match.  The rest of the singles matches went unfinished.

Barney lost to Kamilla Nella, 7-5, 6-1, at No. 3 singles, Bella Pescatore dropped a 6-2, 6-2 decision to Jordan Bradley at No. 5 and Alvarez-Storney lost to Nikole Lisovyy, 6-2, 7-5, at No. 6 singles.
