Cooper Adams pitched an incredible game after pitching 7.2 innings, allowed one run, and sent five batters to the curb.
Luke Pryor's clutch pitching late kept the Mountaineer one run lead as he earns his first save of the season.
There wasn't any scoring until the fifth inning when Brian Cordell of UMES hit an infield single to third base which allowed Luke Myers to cross the plate, 1-0. Great Pitching by both teams kept either one from reaching pay dirt.
Brady Drawbaugh stepped up to the plate in the seventh inning and decided enough was enough as he knocked a no doubter of a shot over left center's fence to bat
Jayson Kramer in and give the Mount their 2-1 lead.
Tyler Long went 2-4 today and was an active runner on the basepath however was kept from scoring each time. Brady Drawbuagh performed well after going 1-2 at the plate with the winning two-run homer and drew a walk.
