North Haven, Conn. (April 1, 2023)--The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis team fell at Quinnipiac, 5-2, in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match on Saturday night at the North Haven Racquet Club.  Victoria Papadopoulou continued her strong season with a straight-set win at No. 1 singles.

The Bobcats swept the three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead in the match.  In singles play, Shirley Liang put the Mount on the scoreboard with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Jordan Bradley at No. 5 singles.  Papadopoulou cruised to a 6-3, 6-4 win over Claire Koscielski at the No. 1 singles position, but it was not enough as the Mount fell to 1-3 in MAAC play with the loss.

The Mount will play at Fairfield tomorrow at noon in another MAAC matchup.
