BUFFALO, N.Y. (February 25, 2023) – The Mount bowling team currently sits first out of seven teams following day one of competition at the Medaille Brunswick Classic. The team went 3-1 with wins over #14 Mercyhurst, #19 Medaille and Pitt-Bradford. The lone loss came to Roberts Wesleyan.
 
Junior Alyssa Alexander was the top performer for MSM and led the overall field in individual standings, rolling a 1,061 (212.2 average) over five games. Freshman Trishelle Leal Uribe went 806 (201.5 average) for four games. Freshman Laney Wells provided nice relief off the bench in the final two games with a 213 and 189 for a 402 total.
 
Competition will resume at 9:00 a.m. ET tomorrow with three baker matches to conclude qualifying before two rounds of best-of-seven bracket play.
