SINKING SPRING, Pa. (October 23, 2023) – Mount St. Mary's bowling defeated Felician in five games to win Kutztown's Golden Bear Invitational. The tournament victory is the 11^th in program history and the Mountaineers defeated every NTCA ranked opponent along the way.
 
Senior Alyssa Alexander shined for the second straight day, compiling a Baker average of 22.78. Sophomores Sierra Calo and Trishelle Leal Uribe followed suit with solid showings of 19.55 and 19.13, respectively.
 
Storming out of the gate, the Mount rolled a 1,117 score with consistent games ranging from 211 to 244 in a defeat of Coppin State. The team then defeated #16 Mercyhurst and Molloy before dropping a game to Caldwell. In the best-of-seven bracket round, the Mountaineers jumped out to a 3-0 advantage, including a 236 game two, before clinching the title in game five, 209-171.

The Mount's next tournament is November 4-5, when they travel to Buffalo, New York for the Brunswick Fall Open, hosted by Niagara University.
