Lewisburg, Pa. (September 4, 2022)—Victoria Papadopoulou took home the championship in the Flight A singles while Adriana Barney captured the title in the B Flight singles to highlight the final day of the Bucknell Invitational for the Mount St. Mary's men's and women's tennis teams.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• In the B Flight singles, Jarrett Karnibad advanced to the finals with a win over Saint Francis U's Matt Kozar, 3-6, 6-0, 10-5 before falling in the finals.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Victoria Papadopoulou put the capper on her collegiate debut with a straight set win over Saint Francis U's Kelly Dowuona, 6-3, 6-2, in the championship match of the Flight A singles to capture the title.
• In the B Flight finals, Adriana Barney also took home a title, besting Mirra Manolov (Bucknell), 6-3, 3-6, 14-12, in an exciting championship match.

The Mountaineers are now off until hosting the Mountaineer Invitational on campus on September 23-25 with the men also heading to the Loyola Invitational that weekend.
