Women’s Golf Registered 14th Place at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate

EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 29, 2022) – Graduate student Olivia Gardenhour and freshman Erika Cui were the top-performing Mountaineers in the Kingsmill Intercollegiate after shooting a final score of 256 (+40) over the three rounds to finish tied for 69th place. The Mount St. Mary's women's golf team finished in 14th place with a combined score of 1067 (+203) after shooting a score of 362 (+74) today.
 
Delaware won the team competition after shooting a combined score of 911 (+47), while Delaware's Oihana Etxezarreta won the individual competition, shooting a three-round score of 215 (-1).
 
Senior Michaila Cheung had a two-day total of 263 (+47) after shooting a 92 (+20) in the third round to finish in 72nd place. Sophomore Suzanna Martin finished in 77th place after shooting a 99 (+27) to have a final score of 292 (+76). Junior Taylor Woodward return to action in the third round with a 114 (+42) to have a total of 209 (+65) to record 78th place.
 
The Mount will compete in the Prospect Bay Intercollegiate on April 2-3 in Grasonville, Maryland.
